Get ready to light up your evenings! Firefly Nights are returning at Blue Spring State Park for 2025!

Join us for magical nights where the trees along the boardwalk come alive with thousands of twinkling fireflies.

When: March 14th - April 6th 2025
Time: Please Arrive No Later Than 7pm to Enjoy the Full Experience
Tickets: $14 After Hours Pass Per Vehicle (does not include park admission)
Things to Know:
- Fireside Chats are returning and will take place nightly at 6:45pm and 7:15pm
- Please DO NOT bring Bug Spray or White Lights as it interferes with the firefly communication patterns
- We recommend reserving your after hours pass in advance to ensure entry to the park on the date of your choosing

St. Patrick’s Day Festival (Sat)

Oviedo's St Patrick's Day Festival is a family friendly celebration of all things Irish. Featuring live Irish entertainment by Colin Farrell and The Byrne Brothers, fresh Guinness, Smithwicks and Harp on draft, food trucks featuring unique Irish cuisine, and more!

For the kids we will have Irish Step Dancers, stilt-walker balloon artists, and face painting. Kids are also encouraged to dress up!

This is a free festival to attend, but beer punch cards must be purchased for Guinness, Smithwicks, and Harp beer on tap. For ages 21 and over only.

How does the beer punch card work?

1. Purchase your beer punch cards here online to avoid long lines at the event. Punch cards are $25 each for four punches. A 'Punch a Pint'. Save on ticket fees by purchasing a two, four, or eight pack. For ages 21 and over only. *Not valid at the full liquor bar.

2. Pick up your punch cards at the event, on the side stage of The Oviedo Cultural Center (Eventbrite Line). For ages 21 and over only, and must have ID present. **Not valid at the full liquor bar.

Finnegan's Irish Step Dancers will be performing throughout the day between 5p-9p during breaks of the bands.

Night Hike Under the Stars (Sat)

Explore the stars as you experience the sights and sounds of the Zoo at night during this exciting nocturnal adventure! The evening will begin in the Discovery Center with a special presentation by the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust PLANETARIUM from Seminole State College.

Fascinating nightlife will come to light as we venture into the Zoo for a guided flashlight tour, up close animal encounters, and an opportunity to explore the night sky through a planetarium telescope. This is a great program for families, but because it is a late-night program, children must be five years or older to attend. Check-in begins at 7:00 p.m. and the program ends at 10:00 p.m. Registration and payment required. Space is limited. Children must be at least five years old to participate.
